Hi, thank you for clicking on my story page!
I'm Seok Yeong, an illustrator and stamps designer based at home studio in Penang, Malaysia.
I draw illustrations for game industry, 5 years in a company, another 5 years freelancing with the Penang gang (yea we continue to work together). Great people, lots of different game project to experience.
But i feel "grey" and lost at some point. Traveling and end-year break didn't help, thus i asked "what if i quit drawing" to my working fellows, to myself. Reading "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron did help me, i start to practicing morning pages.
And thus, this idea of "designing my own stamps" beat my initial idea of drawing BL webcomics and to start farming ( what wild idea lolI started to collect rubber stamps, to keep track my freelance work and life. PS: I used to be super annoyed with this daily tracking routine during company era, but fear of "doing nothing today" in first 2 years of freelancing made me continue it) U know, there are times when u want to buy some stamps but none made it to the cart, thoughts of "if i could design myself" just pops!
So yea, it is not a dramatic story, just a simple want-to-do, and i really done it, doing it and will continue to do.
vvv Below is my first sets of idea- Duality of a Libra.
Feel free to scroll my collection of designs, if you also feel none caught your attention, i'm open to commission too!
